About me

I qualified as a massage therapist over 25 years ago in Cambridge, shortly after leaving Art College. Since then I have travelled widely, and worked in different fields, from a Montessori pre school teacher to a mural artist.

More recently, I was trained by Amanda Oswald who is an expert in Myofascial Release, and runs her own pain clinics nationally. She has written an acclaimed book ‘Living Pain Free’ on how to help heal chronic pain with MFR techniques.

I have always been drawn back to massage and holistic therapies. I practise yoga regularly and find it helps me to navigate the stresses of daily life. I hope to use my therapy skills to help you find balance, harmony and mindfulness in your life.

I work from my therapy room at home, cater to a female only clientele, and am based in Burley-in-Wharfedale. Committing to regular massage and holistic therapies is both preventative and restorative.

I have worked on Women’s Wellness Retreats, where yoga, meditation and massage are combined into the day. The mini massage sessions always prove very popular. I have volunteered my services offering hand massages to elderly ladies at the Abbeyfield. This has been very beneficial to those suffering from arthritis. I have also done baby massage. It is a therapy for all ages!
